My Figure Study Project - Kristin

While in art school which was a study at home thing through the Art Academy University I was struck by how poor the images were that we were supposed to use for our painting and drawing regarding the human figure.  Having access to models and a studio in my home I constructed a giant rotating table on which I would have models pose in 8 different positions each.  As I photographed them I would turn the table ultimately photographing a 360 degree view of each pose.  I then created a DVD of each and sold them as study aids for art students and artists all over the world.

My Blue Jean Jacket

Between 2006 and 2010 at the end of every modeling shoot I would ask the model if she wanted to participate in this project called "My Blue Jean Jacket".  Most said yes, my only rule was that they were the ones to select what they wore under my jacket.  I have 24 models from 6 different countries in what eventually became a book.  Below is a link to Amazon.com where the book can be purchased and below that is an image from each of the photo shoots.

Purchase the book here:

And selected images in no particular order:

Strip tease

That girl, she does a dance

you will never forget,

She doesn't take a chance

there is nothing she will regret

her moves are fast, smooth and sexy

Her looks make me feel like a wanna be slinky

She's doing a strip tease

She's doing it with ease

She's doing a strip tease

that girl is going to please

One more playful glance

one more "gotta have her dance"

She's pulling out all the stops

Oh shit! she's calling in the off duty cops

She's doing a strip tease

She's doing it with ease

She's doing a strip tease

that girl is going to please

It's 2:00am and they're closing the doors

she is working the floor with no fears

That girl has her piercings polished

she has a man on his knees in tears

She doesn't know but that girl

my heart she could demolish...

She's doing a strip tease

She's doing it with ease

She's doing a strip tease

that girl is going to please

She's doing a strip tease

She's doing it with ease

She's doing a strip tease

that girl is going to please

You can keep your hugs...

You can keep your hugs

You needed help with email
It was an excuse to see you
When I got to the store
I had to take a deep breath
Before walking through the door…

You call me a dork
You give me inspiration
You told me “You can keep your hugs”
I don’t like this kind of complication…

Using email to tell you the things I can’t say
Using email so I can swing your heart my way
Helping you with email reading the lines
Then you read the one that said…

You call me a dork
You give me inspiration
You told me “You can keep your hugs”
I don’t like this kind of complication

I’ll keep the hugs to myself
But you should know
Even though I felt distressed
I saw that look in your eyes…
The one that said; “You’re such a dork”; and I knew…

You call me a dork
You give me inspiration
You told me “You can keep your hugs”
I don’t like this kind of complication

I’ll keep the hugs to myself
But you should know
Even though I felt distressed
I saw that look in your eyes…
The one that said; “You’re such a dork”; and I knew…

Oh yeah…
You call me a dork
You give me inspiration
You told me “You can keep your hugs”
I don’t like this kind of complication

As an artist...

... it is our responsibility to portray and capture what the real world is like, not just to re-create it by duplication of other art!

Right now we live in an era that will define the entire world for the next thousand years. So the way I see it our descendents can either "see" the truth in what we create or they can read the lies that are told to the masses by the government(s) and press!

And when I say "we" I mean the entire world the things happening now are not only happening to the US but the entire world!

Someday

Someday you will realize,
That I love you.

Someday you will understand,
How deep my love for you goes,
Until then you will hate me,
You will hate who I am,
You will hate my creativity,
You will hate my art and writings.

But someday you will come to realize,
That I love you,
That regardless what you think,
I have been devoted to you,
That I love you!

Someday you will wake up and realize that you are loved,
That you are loved by me!

My most notable creation is Shelby, for with out her my life would be an empty meaningless list of dribble on this page...

I care for you

“I care for you" she wrote, not thinking about the impact of her words, simple words... "I care for you" You would not think much of them on a normal day, but, this day was not just any day... It was the day you read the words "I care for you" and actually read them, after all you’re a guy such things just don't seem to click, you know, not like when you’re a chick?

"I care for you"... what the hell does that mean?  Really... are they words to appease, not to offend, do you really mean, "I care for you?"  Perhaps words of affection that your trying to send, "I care for you"... don't want to append!

"I care for you" are such words, could mean anything, I'm a guy after all and things need to be spelled out for me.  I am meant to fix things, build things, and help in any way I can... sharing what I consider to be mine, my thoughts are tough.  "I care for you" are words that have a load of power; they can cause fear, joy and sometimes even make you feel like jumping off a tower!

"I care for you"... words to live by, but for someone who's just a guy, there, should be some instruction manual nearby, though, because I am a guy I'll probably not read it, and then, defend my actions till the bitter end, and still wonder about those simple words... "I care for you"
